Gilsland Park, a caravan park in the beautiful seaside town of North Berwick, just 40 minutes from Edinburgh, is popular with couples and families.
Our troop consisted of nine kids under-8, four footie-loving dads, and six ‘Hurrah for Gin’ mums all looking forward to a September Weekend break. Especially the hot tubs.
We stayed in luxury self-catering lodges with hot tubs including Puffin Lodges and the petite but cosy Puffling Studio.
Managing to leave the hot tubs, the onsite playpark, and the comfort of the lodges we walked into North Berwick to the beaches and ice cream shops.
On the way home we stopped at Scotland’s National Museum of Flight to check out Concorde, Supermarine Spitfire and explore the hangars.
